This third book in the Frosty-series starts with apparent peace and calm as Jens, Gudmund and Finn spend their summer holidays together. But a sense of menace hangs over everything. It reveals itself reasonably quickly when the Cold Wind appears. Despite the summer heat and the sunshine the Wind has found its way to the boys on holiday. The adults have never told them about the Cold Wind, and Jens believes that the spirits are now on their way to claim him, in revenge for everything he has ruined for them at Blekbo. But then little Gudmund gets kidnapped, and it is up to Jens to save him.
