Kjell Ola Dahl (b. 1958) wrote his first novel in 1993. He has written many crime novels about the police investigators Gunnarstanda and Frølich that have been translated into many languages. He was awarded the Riverton Award in 2000 and 2015 and in 2015 he also won a Brage Award for the novel The Courier.
