Jenny Hval (b. 1980) is a  writer, musician and sound artist. She made her literary debut with the novel The Pearl Brewery in 2009, and followed up with Sings with Her Eyes in 2012, and then Girls against God in 2018.

Hval has released two albums as Rockettothesky, and several under her own name, including Apocalypse Girl (2015),  Blood Bitch (2016) and, most recently, The Practice of Love (2019).
