Helene Flood (b 1982) is the author of international bestselling adult fiction thrillers. Her debut, The Therapist, is bought for film by Anonymous Content, and rights have been sold to 29 countries, topped bestseller charts, and earned numerous awards and nominations. Then came The Lover (2021) and The Widow (2023). In 2023 Flood published her first book for children, The Silver Sparkling Island, that was nominated for the ARK Children’s Book  Award.

Flood is a psychologist with a PhD degree and works as a psychologist and researcher at the National Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress. She lives in Oslo, Norway.
