Writer and musician Bård Torgersen (b. 1967) lives in Oslo. Since making his literary debut with the acclaimed novel Everything Must Go (2005), he has published several disturbing, surreally funny novels as well as mini collections of poetry, cultivating a unique style that alternates between – or combines – the innocent and the menacing.
