Alf van der Hagen
Alf van der Hagen (b. 1962) has been an editor and a critic in various prominent literary channels, print as well as radio, perhaps most notably the cultural weekly Morgenbladet. Specializing in interviews and conversations with writers, he has published 11 interview books, 6 of which are in the genre “unwritten memoirs” – books covering the entire life of the writer he interviews. In 2013 he received the Critics’ Prize for Dag Solstad. Unwritten Memoirs. In 2014 he was nominated for the Brage Prize (the Norwegian Book Award) for Kjell Askildsen. A Life.
