It’s summer and school holiday at Bøler, and in the beginning it is as if everything is standing still. But Tove is 13 years old, and when she isn’t with Siri, or out walking the dog for Mrs Hoff, she reads books where lots of things happen. Besides, Goggen is at home, showing up much more frequently than before, and the Tove and her mother travel to Trondheim, and when her father starts holiday, the entire family goes away. The summer becomes much more eventful than Tove had imagined, and when it’s over, many things are different.
