Norefjell is a love story about two people who, in their own ways, have lost control of their lives. In the late summer of 2023, the writer Ruben
Strand meets the painter Helga Nymoen in Oslo after ten years of separation. They grew up together and later shared a long romantic
relationship. Now, they are aging individuals struggling to maintain their dignity. One hides from the world out of fear of being labeled as demented. The other works as a publishing consultant and night shift worker at a hotel in downtown Oslo. Their reunion sparks new hope in both of them, and gradually, they rediscover the trust and intimacy
they once shared.
