The World Is Drawn with a Trembling Hand
It’s autumn, and Paula, a psychologist, has travelled to the remote family hut in the mountains to engage in her annual grouse hunting ritual, as she does each year. However, this year, everything seems different. Haunted by the suicide of one of her patients, she finds herself unable to settle into her customary rhythm. Her interactions with the locals, notably the enigmatic older woman residing in the only other hut in the area, further disrupt her course. Adding to the surreal atmosphere, a large, enigmatic machine has emerged near the hut, emitting a low, constant hum. As her emotional turmoil deepens, an inexplicable attraction to it begins to take hold.
The World is Drawn with a Trembling Hand is an existential fable that explores the intricate relationship between technology and nature, life and death – and the challenges of persevering in a world marked by unending change.
