The End
A small group of people has come together to start over in a disused military barracks. The barracks are to become an alternative community – a place outside of everything – where those who live there together are to do nothing. Or as close to nothing as they can get. They are not to make plans. And they are not to question the meaning of what they do, whether they are assigned to build coffins, tidy up the iron warehouse or do combat training.
The group’s leader, Gardar, does not have many answers as to why they are where they are or do the things they do. And they must resist the temptation to leave the camp and seek out life in the community outside. Gradually, things start falling apart. And perhaps that is when something new begins.
