At a meditation retreat, a 43-year old pianist gets some sympathetic advice from a fellow participant, after she rejects his awkward, but respectful, advances: he should take up net dating. Inspired by a book on existentialism he has inherited from his stepfather and with his eyes fixed on the future, he hopes to change certain basic conditions of his life.
