Nelia grieves over the death of Linus. At the same time, danger is lurking in the two worlds to which she belongs. Her father’s assistant, Vila, has discovered how dangerous the beautiful flower Dew Cather is. When it withers, the flower becomes so poisonous that it can kill people.

Vila wants to seize power and create a perfect, new world.  People start dying, but although Nelia knows why, nobody believes her.  Both worlds are threatened by destruction, and she is the only person who can save them. The battle she must fight is difficult and lonely.
