This is an unusually tight and charged crime novel. It opens with a disturbing description of a small boy. From there on we are told the story of the road towards a horrifying crime. As in the children’s song, Itsy Bitsy Spider can crawl up on you when the sun shines and you least expect it. And when you have entered Spider’s world, there are no easy ways out.
