Vegard Markhus (b. 1983 ) is an Author, illustrator and teacher. He made his debut with the illustrated book Redd (Afraid) in 2008. He was awarded The Norwegian Children and YA Literary Prize 2010 for his picture book Timothy mister seg sjølv (Timothy looses himself).
