Øyvind Ellenes (b. 1974) made his debut with the short story collection The Story Retold and has since published four acclaimed novels.

He has been an editor of the literary magazine Vagant. In 2012 he was awarded the Booksellers’ Author’s Grant for his novel Four Hundred French Insults.
