Maren Ørstavik (b. 1986) is a journalist and music critic based in New York. She is a professionally trained pianist from the Norwegian Academy of Music and Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover, and covers classical music for the Norwegian daily newspaper Aftenposten. From 2017-2019 she was editor-in-chief at the art journal Periskop.no, an online magazine about art for children and young people.
