Malin C.M. Rønning was born in Porsgrunn in 1985 and lives in Oslo. She studied creative writing at Bø in Norway and Litterär gestaltning in Göteborg. Her acclaimed first novel, Skabelon (2020), won the Subjekt Award and was nominated for the Tarjei Vesaas Debut Prize. Her second novel, The Twelfth House, came out in 2024 to great acclaim, and was nominated for the Brage Prize.
