Documentary photographer Line Ørnes Søndergaard (b. 1986) has a background from TV- and documentary film making. She finished her BA in photojournalism at Oslo Metropolitan University in 2015. Next to her own projects she works as a freelance photographer for a handful of Norwegian newspapers. Søndergard’s work focuses on social and political subjects with the intimate human connection as the backbone of her storytelling. Her work has been exhibited in galleries, and has been awarded many prizes, including Picture Of the Year International and NPPA Best of Photojournalism award.
