Kristine Næss

Kristine Næss (b. 1966) made her debut in 1996 with the collection of poetry Obladi. She has since written novels, stories and a book of poetics, and her distinct, personal voice has given her a significant place in the Norwegian literary landscape. She has also edited a literary journal and worked as a critic. In 2009 Næss was awarded the Booksellers’ Association’s Author’s Grant. In 2015 her novel Only Human was nominated for the Nordic Council’s Literature Prize.
