Ingvild Burkey
Ingvild Burkey (b. 1967) made her debut with the collection of poetry, Thunder while Asleep (1994). She has since published a novel, another poetry collection and two acclaimed collections of prose.
In 2008, her second collection of poetry, The Most Imaginable of all Worlds, was nominated for the prestigious Brage Prize. In 2009 Burkey was awarded the Tanum Grant for Women Writers. In 2017 she won the Riksmål Prize for A Peculiar Tool.
