Mona Høvring and Kjartan Hatløy are the Norwegian winners of this year’s Dobloug Prize! The annual prize is awarded to two Swedish and two Norwegian writers by the Swedish Academy.

Mona Høvring’s Critics’ Prize-winning novel Because Venus Crossed and Alpine Violet on the Day That I Was Born will soon be published in English, French, Dutch and Spanish, and is already out in German, Swedish and Danish. Kjartan Hatløy’s acclaimed poetry collection The White Road has been published in German.
